Some Great Biblical Lessons
The Formula for Giving & Receiving
by Jesse Duplantis
All giving is separate. Don’t mess up the rate of exchange. Never take from one to add to another. Don’t steal from God. It’s not about the amount of money; it’s about being obedient to God. Do them all.
● Tithe – 10% of your personal income (net) paid to the ministry. I’d rather have 90% of my income blessed, than 100% of it cursed.
Motivation = Obedience.
● First Fruits – Your first extra blessing of the year (outside of your regular income after New Year’s) goes to God, yes the entire amount. This shows God that you’re not in love with money. It can be a raise, bonus, royalties, etc. However, this is separate from your tithe.
Motivation = Generosity.
● Alms – Your charitable giving to man that is done is secret. Don’t tell the left hand what the right hand is doing. Do this in secret, and God will bless you openly. Do it and keep your mouth shut.
Motivation = Compassion.
● Seed – Your reward on seed offering is 30/60/100 fold. By planting seeds, your reward will create an inheritance to bless your children’s children (Proverbs 13:22 = 3 generations). Be a blessing to your family 240 years into the future. Planting seed is the fastest way to become debt free. Tithe must be done to cover your Seed reward. Example (average life expectancy is 80 years old. 80x3=240 years).
Motivation = Faith & Reward.
Tell God what you want, and you will never have a need.
Jesse Duplantis is the biggest giver to his own ministry. Be obedient.
